I am a player and I really enjoy video editing with Adobe. My computer now freezes right too when I try to do that. Adobe After Effects and Photoshop are two of my favorites. However, if I open two at a time until my computer goes crazy. I found two teams I think it is worthy of my level of computer and work. HP - Pavilion Elite Desktop with Intel ® Core ™ i7 Alienware - Aurora Desktop with Intel ® Core ™ i7 Both have very good reviews on the Internet. I do not know which to choose. Can you tell me everything better and the reason for this? If another team believes you think is good for me I'm always up for more options. I really do not have a price range, if not more than 2500. Thank you really do not want build my own. ^ too much work. ^ I want a pc. Laptops would be good but I think Im going to buy only one book Mac Pro
My roommate is a player and has a Dell XPS, and he says that is perfect for Photoshop, WoW, COD, and many other great games programs. But I know that Alienware is good with the major programs and such.

Any video tutorials and general tips to help me with my life-size sculpture (ISH) cl female torso?
I'm gonna be a sculpture size or rather the large female torso using clay and I'm looking for tips or tutorials on how to do it. Any video I saw on the web? I'm not sure but I think I heard of something called "rolled" to make a sculpture, but I'm not sure how to do it. Any tips or advice or links would be useful. Thanks!
You are working bigger than I work. Wind would be a possibility. I begin with the deployment of some slabs clay about 1 / 2 to 3 / 8 inch thick. Perhaps the extension created to shape clay coils toughest. I choose big hole or maybe do some with a tape I hope that you have done some other work with clay and know some of these basic concepts to join clay is soft enough if can be compressed and worked. When dry the clay ones you need to dial and the sliding of clay - ruff to both surfaces and add some mud made of clay you are using. Clay shrinks as it dries. It also becomes more rigid. You will be doing a dance to let the clay dry for the strongest and sprayed with water to balance the power to manipulate the clay. Want to try a uniform thickness. Avoid getting air, if the piece is going to have baked in the oven. I also wrap pieces plastic bags and plastic wrap to control moisture loss. Near the end, if dried too fast, there will be a lot of cracks You can see some of my works in my blog. I checked for adult content. This page describes a way to create a home studio without breaking your bank!
Here I will explain and describe my home studio setup. all of my portrait shots were taken with this home studio, so if trying to figure out how to perform, check out my gallery, but that is limited by my ability, best examples of view may be the work of Si or some of Claire. your settings are slightly different.
Below is a picture of my studio:
My Team
The Interfit EX150 kit comes with two 150 watt / sec flash heads, two lighting stands, a 60x60cm light box, a white translucent umbrella, power cables and sync cable. I have two of these kits what is bent. If you are concerned about the power of a 150w head, no, I use half the power that Most of the time.
1) 100% load again ready light
2) Infrastructure and red blood cell receptor flash
3) Plug and Fuse network (6.3 amps)
4) On / Off
5) Modelling of control lap. I = Total power position. Average = Off. Position II = Proportional mode.
6) Test button
7) Sync cable between the camera and flash head (the connection PC Sync adapter or a shoe on your camera)
Cover is removable and washable and is an elastic adjustment in the base which also doubles as a diffuser. I'l warn that advertising of this product is so poor. The sample pictures they use are terrible in my opinion, and I bet you lose a lot of customers in this way. I assure you that performs much better than what they show.
Above: Example of what can be achieved.
The IRX fits into the shoe of the camera, and emits a wide infrared beam which will trigger any infrared sensitive flash unit, thus eliminating the need a sync cable between the camera and flash unit and any concern over the tensions of synchronization in digital SLR.
Lens?
I can not recommend the Canon EF 60 mm f/2.8 USM Macro-S enough. It's a cracking lens produces sharp results and detailed. However, you do not need a little space to play. IdeallyI have double doors that open in my living room, it gives me the required space. If you're really limited in space, i would not exceeding 30 mm.
Also I have the EF 50 mm lens f/1.8II which is a little big and produces sharp results, considering you can pick it up around £ 50 if you look in the right places.

Installation and Configuration
First, I'll say not just copy what I write here ... Experiment! that's the fun in it and get better results.
Lights illuminating the front of the subject wants to be about 4 feet away from them and the lower edge of the light box to match the chin down around an angle of 45 degrees. have the lights on the back of the same height as well, but experiment in which the angle of inclination than them.
Something to remember:
Make sure the subject did not sit a little close to the vertical stage, as this will result in the bright lights causing flooding in these horrible fog effect as the bottom. If they feel away from it and its still hazy achieve this effect, it is likely that the flash is too powerful, so turn it down.
above: from Saturday to near background / flash very powerful
Shot most of the time with my lights on half power. with the following values:
Again, experiment with your settings to achieve different results!
Below is a diagram my home studio setup:
Now, I'm not saying this is the only way of setting up a home studio, much less ... but this is a successful way to do it without going bankrupt! Please post your comments and questions and I will eagerly contact you. Hope this helped.

How to edit and burn home movies and videos to DVD?
Most people like to record special occasions in our lives: wedding ceremony Graduation Thanksgiving Family Reunion, Christmas Day, etc. We make our permanent moments. However, to make films at home is not is enough to keep your sweet memories.
Edit and burn home movies and videos to DVD is definitely the best option. You may wonder why we have to edit and burn home movies or videos to DVD on a PC. Well, three basic and most accepted ones, surely there many reasons that you may encounter when you are ready for title = "download / record your home movies to DVD transfer> / burn their movies homemade DVD.
First of all, show how much you care. Nothing says I love you quite like a video Home polished, with well-choreographed cut, tasteful fades, and time working well under two hours. Give your family and friends a gift they'll love it: themselves, in good condition of the camera.
Secondly, children have short attention span. Face it, when Billy gave an Xbox at 6 years did little to improve their ability to sit still and watch videos at home. Spend some time with an editing room, and you have a program capable of capturing capricious imagination.
Third, preserve the memory. Write-once DVDs can last 100 years, so that makes sense the world as a means of long-term storage for your precious memories. Imagine showing Old Faithful grandchildren after it dried, or the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge after that became an oil field.
What is needed:
A video capture card internal or external (for analog video) A FireWire (digital video); Plenty of free space on your hard disk; In at least 512MV system memory; A DVD recorder (Wondershare Video to DVD Burner) A program for editing digital video (Wondershare Video to DVD Burner)
How to edit and burn home movies or videos to DVD?
Step 1. Transfer your home movies or videos to computer

Unfortunately, only high-end media center computers and usually come with these cards. If not, they are quite expensive to buy and generally not worth the money for this use once. If you are unsure if your computer comes with a video capture card, check your owner's manual or look for composite, S-Video, video inputs or other in the back of the computer. The entry should be similar to the output on your VCR.
For digital videos of the DVD camcorder, camcorder with flash memory and hard drive camcorder: There are some options you can choose to transfer digital videos to DVD. These include Firewire/IEEE-1394, USB, S-Video or RCA connectors. The most efficient way to do this is with an IEEE 1394 cable.
Step 3. load videos. Click the option that says "Upload Video." You can then add your home movies or videos with the program. Thumbnail images will appear at the interface of the left. The right interface lets you view the video file loaded. Drag and drop video files to load storyboard below to organize the presentation.

There are four main components that will appear on the screen when you open Photoshop. These will be the main tools used to create and edit pictures. These tools are: - Menu Bar, Drawing Canvas, toolbox and palettes.
Start 'll with family first. Bar menu resembles luckily the menu bar in many other applications. You can save, get a new screen, copy and paste, all the functions with which are already familiar.
The next component of Photoshop you should be familiar with the Drawing Canvas. The drawing canvas is the large white area in the center of the screen where you can draw or edit the images. You can configure the size of the drawing canvas to limit the size of the image. The title bar drawing canvas tells you the name of your image and the zoom and the way to be in. You can have unlimited drawing canvases open at any time and to set all sizes different.
The toolbox is his main arsenal for creating and editing images in Photoshop. The toolbox contains twenty different tools that allow you to make and modify images on the drawing canvas. You can draw lines, fill colors, delete images, select parts of an image, and more. For each function selected in your toolbox, Photoshop changes the pointer shape in hopes of helping to remember which tool you've selected.
The Photoshop principal is the final component of pallets. By default, five pallets will come up on the screen when you open Photoshop. These palettes are: information, brushes, layers, command, and color. More are available on a drop-down menu in the menu bar. The Photoshop palettes are those who give their versatility. Each pallet amending properties of the tools in the toolbox. For example, the brushes that allows to change the thickness of the brush line drawing. There are some features widely in each palette. As you become familiar with this feature, be sure to check all the tabs and the fly-out menu options.
Once you are familiar with the basic functions of Photoshop, you should know all the tools in your toolbox. The best way is to open a new drawing canvas and start drawing with each tool. If you can do this with the instruction manual open in front of you, you will both be able to read about all the properties of each tool as well as view what you can do with him on the canvas. After being well versed in the basics, it's time to move on to more advanced applications of Photoshop.

Does anyone have a list of video card terms and their definitions and descriptions?
Hello, I was wondering if anyone knows all card terms video (preferably the terms that concern about problems such as artifacts, choppiness, etc.) and what each term. So far I have no problem with any game, except for Counter Strike Source. I did the stress test video and reported my FPS was 280. But more than a game, there seems to be video lag or something. The characters are sometimes hesitant as they move and the screen seems to be back now and then a second as I move. (A little hard to describe). Also cod5 when I played, sometimes there are lines in the cut scenes when his movement is too fast. I'm not sure if this is normal because the gameplay is fine watching movies online are not divided. So if someone knows all the terms video card problem, help me find the problem and seek help a response. Thank you. edit: I was playing online though
The delay you are experiencing is the Counter Strike Internet lag, no video lag. This is due to ping the server computer that is too large.
I have a lot of home videos that are 8 mm and my video camera is not doing a very good job since it is quite old. I need to get these copied before this thing goes completely. Is there a player or a recorder so you can connect through and put in a VHS VCR or something? Or is there a device that could be used to connect to the computer and put the disks? Having them on a hard drive or disk would be more appropriate. I really need help. Best answer receives 10 + 5 and the highest ... lol
