I have eight different lenses M42, praktica 2 and a peak body and other accessories and trying M42 to find the digital body with a M42 adapter, but the opening priortery and autofocus does not work, so I'm thinking HX1 but a friend told me that his no zoom works in video mode and also has a small sensor (1/2.4 only) compared with alpha and quality of M42 lenses is much better and durable! so need any opinion and I do the entire rack.

The HX1 is just a point and shoot in a large body with a large lens. It does have one, micro size the small image sensor. Go with a Sony Alpha. As for the connection of these M-series lenses, I have no idea.
