International Tadeeb seeks to promote the writing new everywhere, but especially by young people. Recently, in this sense, Bazm-E-International Tadeeb organized and mounted, in conjunction with the British Council, Lahore, (www.britishcouncil.org / Pakistan), and the World Association of Schools (www.britishcouncil.org / globalschools.htm), a literary event video for students from schools in Bradford and Lahore. The general name of this company is Tadeeb ongoing International Young Writers Project.

On Wednesday, December 3, 2008, five students from schools in Bradford and six schools in Lahore to share their literary creations with one another via video link. In Bradford, this was the culmination of a long period of preparation and effort, which included the performance of students work at the Festival International Mushaira of Ilkley Literature (www.ilkleyliteraturefestival.org.uk) in October.

During the project, the aid in kind has also been generously provided by schools with network links and the University of Bradford School of Lifelong Education and Development, without which there would have been possible to realize the dream Direct connection of young people in all continents through literature. Bradford Metropolitan District Council has contributed to the cost of mailing distribution This in recognition of E-TadeebInternational 's-Bazm commitment to young writers of Bradford. Our thanks to the Council and other institutions and numerous people, including International Tadeeb 's Advisory Editor, Dr. Uddin Ahmed Mukhtar and the poet, Sitara Khan, who have actively supported this pioneering project. We hope to become an established event in the school calendar and will result in additional branches, such as student exchanges between Lahore and Bradford, and the establishment of an art exhibition and a forum for youth performance of Bradford.

Above all, the contribution of participating students is to be applauded, because, although expensive school schedules, which have responded with spirit and commitment. Students studying in Bradford Tong High cole Feversham College and support teachers and have spared no efforts to help the project reach this point. The same comments apply to students and teachers in Lahore School Green, The Lahore Lyceum School System Beacon House School, Garden City Branch and the lords of the International School.

The connection with the Ilkley Literature Festival continues as Shamshad Khan, Poet in Residence Festival 2008, which gave students a thorough training session useful outcomes to the International Mushaira Festival, attended by video-conference and made his poetry in it. In the New Year, Shamshad will to work with students from schools participating in the project and others. We hope that students of this work will form a vanguard for the activities of Arts in Bradford.

Videoconferencing was introduced in Lahore by Rukhsana Ashfaq, Project Manager of the British Council there, and hosted by Mati Ur Rehman, literary figure and television presenter. In Bradford, the event was hosted and conducted by Helen Goodway, English Editor of International Tadeeb. It was a joyful occasion which students performed magnificently. His writing was fully in motion, expressing not only the evils of youth, but also a deep longing for peace on war, life over death and the universal characteristics of humanity underlying different cultural contexts. Qaiser Hameed, Urdu Tadeeb Editor International read your editorial for the new edition, the content fit the spirit of the event, being entitled, "Peace and Literature.

Before its conclusion, Rukhsana Ashfaq invited students to comment on the project's value to them. Their responses were more poignant:

Thank thanks for all your support and encouragement ... I learned a lot through this project ... I've become more confident ... I enjoyed writing the poem ... and I really liked their ideas and comments on the poem and how it could make improvements to it. I really enjoyed the conference ... I liked the way the students presented their work in Lahore. Me really impressed. It was a great experience.

The whole process was a valuable experience that will always appreciated. Apart from the fun, we have gained confidence and learned a lot of skills, skills they have learned otherwise, little things like how to give expression his poem to sound better, how to behave in the whole process, how to write their pieces in order for you to read easily, etc. I particularly liked the videoconference largely because it connected me to my own roots not left long ago. Coming through the family school students, especially the Beacon House School System where he studied for eight years, and parts exchange ideas with them and from across the world, was very wonderful. I'm looking for this YouTube video someone showed me several months ago. It was a video Christian inspiration. Basically, it was a message from God to the viewer (the words were on the screen) and when at first it sounded very hard, but then in the middle of the video when you thought it was done, the words would reverse and start going up (as if rewinding). His most inspiring message ever! I'd really like to find that video again, if possible. I have no idea what it's called or exactly what he said.
