Sound system, I NEED SERIOUS HELP.?

My father left me his sound system before going to Australia last year. Sony has a pair of speakers-MF415 SS, a Sony SA-WM40 Active Subwoofer, a Sony DVP-C670D CD / DVD, and a Marantz Audio / Video Receiver SR-680. I left without instruction manuals on how to put something together (though I have downloaded the subwoofer, and a CD / DVD Player online manuals), and I'm absolutely useless in using my common sense to know that the cables go where. I have my best - engage the receiver (amplifier) in the hands of the player and then hook the player to the subwoofer, then connect the subwoofer to the speakers .. I have tried many combinations, but no sound coming from the speakers or the woofer! It is very frustrating. If anyone has one of these devices and know what must be connected to what, or manual to which Marantz be very grateful. Please please please help me!

The speakers connect to the AV receiver outputs speaker. The subwoofer also be connected to the AV receiverr subwoofer output. Sony CD / DVD audio output (coaxial or optical cable) must connect to the digital audio input on your receiver. Connect the video from the DVD player to the TV. Be sure to activate the receptor to a connector coressponding connecting the audio - in other words, even if all speakers are properly connected, if the entry is set to the wrong device, there is no audio. How to replace a wall mounted outdoor light

LCD projector or HDTV? for games, the TV monitor under $ 400?

I wonder if I should get an LCD HDTV or an HD projector there for too expensive. BUDGET: under $ 400 that would have the LCD off of Craigslist, Amazon, or chainstore local. Best way to configure my CCTV / CATV?

Hello, I'm in a school that runs a TV show in the morning. I'm not sure how better to create our television to minimize loss. We have: 50 dB Amplifier Saw Filter Modulator Blonder Tongue Hi Pass filter several splitters Today we have our video source, which starts out as RGB. That happens by Blonder tongue and sent via coaxial cable about 100 feet above, a control booth. There (The picture looks good at that point by the way) the signal (channel 3 of the modulation) is combined with cable TV with a splitter. In an entry in the divisor is our Channel 3 programming, and the other is the TV AC high-pass filter (for channel three can enter .. ((that's our theory))). This combined signal is set 50 dB amplifier. The output is placed in a 3-way splitter. Two of them what we consider that the classrooms of high priority, and the third will be a lower priority (unless used) Area congregation. How can we make our system better? Thanks! Nick

Nick - It's hard to say exactly how this has connected from their description, but I will try to help. First of all, if I were you, I would like to make this setup a channel 3 only closed system circuit if possible. In this way, you can send your program to the modulator and then to the amplifier and then to the classroom. When troubleshooting, always break the system even the simplest connection and go from there. Try video and audio to the amplifier and the modulator output to the TV with everything else removed - is better? If so, keep it that way if possible. If you need cable TV channels also should really reschedule for a free channel modulator is higher than ch3 - maybe 88 or something.
