How to decide between the DV digital recorder and a recording onto a CD?

How do you view what is recorded on a digital recorder mini dv? It seems be a difficult and time consuming process. Do you have to download to your computer to see what you've recorded? Is there any way to be portable, it can put or tape or disk must always be seen through the video camera? It sounds as if the camera is what you use to view movies. What to do with what already been registered when you want to record more? As for the new camcorders that record directly onto a small disk, I keep reading that the quality of the picture compared to the mini DV digital, and you can not edit and enhance the film once it has been recorded on the disc like you can with video camera original videotape and Mini DV camcorders digital. I have to do the shopping this weekend, but when I got to the store last night I was overwhelmed and there was nobody who had time to answer my questions.

1. Are you good with technology in general? If yes, continue. If not, skip to number 3. 2. Do you mind taking time extra to make your videos more interesting? If not, get miniDV. If so, get DVD. 3. You gonna freak out when he can not understand something? If so, get DVD. If not, go to number 2. Ok, so I think I have every right so it should work correctly. And to refute some of the myths, yes, you can see MiniDV video off a CD / DVD. Thats where # 2 (above) goes You put your material into a computer and then modify it to look good, and then burn it to DVD. You can record unedited, but hell, for his recordings is that anyway, so most people try to organize instead of having an eclectic mix of video. Hope this helps!
