Which is better for the video of an LCD monitor or LCD TV??
FULL HD is just larger than 32 inches? Reduced resolution look horrible DVD on LCD HD TV or LCD monitor high definition? I guess Sony is the best brand with its Live Color Creation. 100 hertz is better than 50 hertz? I thought CRT televisions and is 100 hertz. The store displays horrible analog signals in LCD TV screens! The movies are recorded with a camera the normal and high-definition camera blue ray disk! He must be joking!
That's a lot of questions packed into one:) an LCD monitor or a LCD TV is using the same technology, but detailed specifications are those that will help you decide, but there is nothing different, "monitor" and "TV" just because those things are. Normally the monitors have been added connections that relate more to the computer as USB ports, SD card readers and things like that televisions, whereas normally have more related links only as component video, HDMI, and so on. Full HD (I assume you mean 1080p) is available on any monitor that supports it. Obviously you need that quality from the source and supported by the monitor / TV. So the size will not "do" is 1080p. There are large displays that do not support it and there are smaller ones that do. DVD sought to find on their HDTVs. I remember an HD TV "supports" HD, but only when receiving a high definition signal. Therefore, support for lower resolutions too. So your DVD will look the same (possibly more) as they did in a non-HD TV. Yes 100Hz is better than 50, always. And yes he had CRT, but it's not really the same thing. The CRT is the refresh rate, but not is exactly the same on an LCD screen. Rather than a lengthy explanation, the higher the better, but this is really the key to the time of purchase. So to answer to your question, there is no difference between a monitor and a TV by default. One must look at each of them and their individual specifications. Sony is generally a good brand, but Samsung is one that is quite good and there are other models from different brands competing very good too. A good way to start is to find a TV that you CNet and would like to search user reviews, and finally the track one at a store to see what looks like, but remember that not always use the best means to show their televisions and monitors, so keep this in mind when you look and give more weight to the views to be read.

XBR5 I just purchased a Sony 46 "and understands it must be calibrated. Techi'm kind of, well I want to do it myself instead of hiring it. I understand that Monster and Video Essentials are two companies that provide good calibration films. What is the XBR5 best for? Bob, Reno, NV
No calibration DVD is the closest thing to being good as when a professional comes out and makes their little tool for this. Just my 2 cents

The Brightness and contrast are basic rarely have to adjust the color, unless the TV is really screwed. There is an online manual can be downloaded from the website of PVD, but the voice of the instructions should be adequate.

what is your opinion on movies that help calibrate the HDTV, have you used any of these?
Digital Video Essentials AVIA II Guide Home Theater Sound & Vision Home Theater Tune-Up Monster / ISF HDTV Calibration Wizard DVD The Ultimate DVD - Home Theater Fine Tuning Made Simple
I used DVE Avia I, and S & V. DVE and Avia were the best. S & V is for beginners only. I have no experience with the last two on your list. The one I used in HD format DVD is PVS. PVS is double-sided format. On one side is HD and SD side is. So I'd recommend DVE if necessary to calibrate with both types of players.

PlayStation 3 - Connecting a PS3 to LCD and a projector?
This is an easy question .... Hope someone can help ... I connect my PlayStation 3 to my 37 "LCD and my Sony projector. PS3 only has an HDMI output so how can I connect both devices and have the best image quality. Outlets What should I use? The LCD and HD ready projector and you have many inputs. If I use the HDMI for LCD, the PS3 video output to use for the projector and get the best quality image? Thanks
You must use DVI for one of their devices, which supports. If both do, connect to the projector if the projector does not support output audio. if it does, connect the device to not use that often. So a device that supports common audio output device without frequent HDMI audio output DVI device only for unusual audio support: HDMI rare device without audio support: DVI devices match here. PS: DVI compatible with a picture of 1080 - HDMI so does, but also supports audio output.
