Sony STR DG820 amplifier problem?
I recently bought the previous model amp that has HDMI inputs and multiple AV inputs. The problem I am having is that when I tried to connect my Wii console to the AV input 1 in the rear of the amplifier using the 2-pin audio and 1 video, only audio plays through the system without the image. The amplifier is connected to the TV via an HDMI cable, which may be the problem or need to feed the TV with another video output? ps Wii console works fine when connected directly to the TV. Thank you very much in advance.
I'm not great in the regular recipients of Sony. With that said, this receptor might not only pass video through the HDMI connection. That might call a Sony service center to be sure. Meanwhile, it is likely that (would be better anyway with a direct connection) just connect the video source (s) directly to your HDTV through HDMI or component video. Happy viewing!
