Vista Premium Crashing?
My web GT5658E PC with Vista Home Premium is closing by itself without any particular reason. I tried to Restore system, uninstall files, and change the Balanced power plan. Render the PC closes every time a video that is 1:30 to 4:00 over in the "Sony Vegas Pro 9.0c and when I try to make films in the" Windows DVD Maker "program. Please help, its been happening since November 2009!
Sounds like overheating under load and power turns itself off. Check the CPU fan and make sure it works properly. (if the motherboard goes to support, you can download speedfan and this will tell your CPU temperature and opssibly let you control the speed of the fan) This occurred when a laptop Compaq internal vents which is full of dust, I had to clean it and replace the processor cooling paste before re-attaching the heat sink and fan.
