Why so many video decoder icons appear in the system tray?
I installed the K-Lite Codec Pack videos, and so So I have the ffdshow video decoder. Whenever you use a DVD authoring software such as Windows DVD Maker or Nero Vision and add video clips that are decoded by the ffdshow video decoder / codec, many (sometimes up to 10) will appear in the system tray. How do I fix this problem? If I uninstall K-lite video codec pack, I can not play any video at all, so should try to disable this codec?
You can uninstall K-Lite and install a program as vlcmedia player has built in codecs http://www.videolan.org/vlc/ or a program called Gom us, that will do the same thing http://www.gomplayer.com/main.html I had a similar problem with K-Lite, but no pop-up 10 icons, only 1 to 4 of them
When burning DVDs, the quality of the video copy has less than the original. Why?
When I burn a copy of a DVD with my team, I think the video quality of the copy is significantly lower. Pixelations I see when I play it. Is this normal? Is there anything I can do to prevent this? I use to copy DVD Shrink, Nero Recode Essentials 2.5.5.0 (2007), and Sony DVDirect VRD-VC30 to burn. In Nero Recode I ensure that all who choose the highest quality / setup the kind of depth analysis. hmm .. thanks, but these programs seem to do the same things that Nero Recode and DVD Shrink do. I'm looking for tips that actually improve the quality of video significantly. I tried burning at 8x (for some reason I could not burn at 1x, even if my media says 1-16x), and showed minimal improvement where appropriate. I'm thinking of using double layer DVD + R, or cut the video into two parts ........ But I would still appreciate additional advice.
Hello RR, the layer of commercial DVDs are dual use and more space then you have a DVD for your recording program compresses data to measure. At any time compress the data to lose quality. I use Clone DVD to burn my DVD. I will remove additional languages, subtitles, unnecessary types of audio, Preview of upcoming premieres, the editors of In making cuts, so that my copy does not have to be compressed nearly as quality so much better. I have a Mac FireWire 400 cable that I was able to capture video on the problem of iMac my mother not using iMovie. I have a new 15-inch MacBook Pro and I have a converter 9 pin FireWire 400 then goes to 4-pin on my Sony camcorder. When I iMovie, I can not see the video camera to import.
