Why so many video decoder icons appear in the system tray?

I installed the K-Lite Codec Pack videos, and so So I have the ffdshow video decoder. Whenever you use a DVD authoring software such as Windows DVD Maker or Nero Vision and add video clips that are decoded by the ffdshow video decoder / codec, many (sometimes up to 10) will appear in the system tray. How do I fix this problem? If I uninstall K-lite video codec pack, I can not play any video at all, so should try to disable this codec?

You can uninstall K-Lite and install a program as vlcmedia player has built in codecs http://www.videolan.org/vlc/ or a program called Gom us, that will do the same thing http://www.gomplayer.com/main.html I had a similar problem with K-Lite, but no pop-up 10 icons, only 1 to 4 of them
